Partly Heroic Terms of Use

Welcome to “Partly Heroic” (the “Game”). The Game is operated by Partly Heroic Team (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the Game you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Apple Standard EULA). Where the two differ, the provision more favorable to you applies.

1. License

We grant you a license to use the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices that you own or control. The rights to the Game’s code, art, characters, text and music belong to us or to the rights holders who license them to us.

2. Price

The Game is currently free, with no in-app purchases and no ads. If a future version adds paid content, we will announce it and update these terms before it is released. A purchase only ever happens after you confirm it yourself; nothing is charged automatically.

3. Progress and saves

  • Your save is stored only on your device (see the Privacy Policy). Deleting the Game, resetting your device or switching devices may lose it.
  • The Game has no cloud save at this time, so we cannot restore or transfer your save.

4. Please do not

  • use the Game, its art or its characters commercially, or present yourself as us;
  • distribute modified versions of the Game;
  • decompile or crack the Game, except where the law allows it.

Personal, non-commercial gameplay videos, screenshots and fan works are welcome, as long as they do not claim to be official.

5. Updates and service

  • We release updates through the App Store to add heroes and zones or fix bugs. Some updates may require a newer version of iOS.
  • If we decide to stop offering the Game, we will announce it in advance on our website and App Store page. Versions already downloaded keep working on your device but may no longer be updated.

6. Liability

  • We do our best to keep the Game working but cannot promise it is free of bugs. Please report problems on the support page and we will fix them as soon as we can.
  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your rights under consumer protection law or other applicable law. We are liable as required by law for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence.

7. Changes to these terms

If these terms need to change, we will post the new version and its effective date on our website and point it out in the next version of the Game. New terms apply only from their effective date. If you do not agree to them, you can stop using and delete the Game.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). This does not affect the consumer rights you have under the laws of the place where you live, and does not stop you from bringing a claim in any court that has jurisdiction under the law.

9. Contact

If the Traditional Chinese, Japanese and English versions differ, the version in the language of your App Store storefront applies (Taiwan: Traditional Chinese; Japan: Japanese; other storefronts: English).
